Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays,a concern about climate is increasing owing to indidividuals are chose to recycle products, while some argue that counsumption of less food is better approach instead of recycling. In my opinion, i agree with both points beacause recycling of products is best way to save our atomosphere from global warming, limited consumption of food forces to stay healthy.
On the one hand, it has been increasing debate about protecting environment, individuals choosing recycling options to save climate from future problem like global warming. As an illustration, waste generated from factories is contamined for animals, insects and for human being. if we did not recycled them, it would became serious threat for all citizens in the long run. For instance, waste disposal companies are starting advertisement for hiring on social media platforms to tackle this issue. therefore, global warming is now consider a serious concern for all authorities and countries around the globe.
On the other hand, some of them argue that we have to reduce the consumption of food beacuse recycling is not enough. if we consume less items in daily life, this will reduce the production of all necessary items in market. to explicate this idea, we need less ammount of time and labour to recycle the products.for example, if annual disposal waste of any country is drop from 2.5 million ton to 1 million ton, counrtry will required considerable fund to recycle them. consequently, we have to spread awareness in order to limit the food consumption. In my opinion, i think recycling is not enough to solve the global warming but also less consumption of food would put great impact on climate.
In conclusion, product recycling have positive impacts during expansion of climate while we need also further action including less usage of drinks and junk foods in our lifestyle. in the long run, i would suggest that individual has to pay more attention to save ecosytem and environment using these above strategies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state an opinion: recycling can help the environment, while consuming less can also reduce environmental pressure. The two body paragraphs broadly follow the task, and the example about reducing waste gives the discussion some relevant support. However, the response only partially develops the arguments. The first paragraph focuses on factory waste and global warming without clearly explaining how recycling itself reduces the problem; the second shifts from general consumption to food, then drinks and junk food, leaving the scope unclear. The claim that lower consumption helps people “stay healthy” is also not developed as an environmental reason. Explain each view more directly and use specific, relevant examples to support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and linking words can feel mechanical or connect ideas inaccurately. For example, the point about disposal companies advertising on social media does not clearly follow from the discussion of factory waste, while “consequently” introduces a recommendation rather than a direct result. References such as “them” and “these above strategies” are also not always precise. Make each paragraph develop one clear point in a logical sequence, and use links only when the relationship between ideas is clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “global warming,” “waste disposal,” “consumption,” and “environment,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “considerable fund” and “spread awareness.” However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “atomosphere,” “contamined,” “ammount,” and “ecosystem” misspelled as “ecosytem”; phrases such as “expansion of climate” and “consumption of food” are also unnatural in context. Build accuracy with common environmental collocations, such as “reduce waste,” “lower consumption,” and “protect the environment,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including conditional forms such as “if we consume less items in daily life, this will reduce…” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “individuals are chose to recycle” has an incorrect verb construction, “if we did not recycled them” uses the wrong verb form, and “product recycling have positive impacts” has subject–verb disagreement. Several sentences also begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences using correct conditionals and clauses; proofread for verb forms, agreement, and capitalisation.
