Student answer (Band 4.5)
In my opinen i think that waste are the bigest issues for the environment and years after years this number is growin and taht it can be a bad impact for environment and i beleve the best way to protacte the nature is by recycling.
to beigin with , i think if every person have recyclen the waste on there houses there woldent be this much of waste on the world lso they is alot of human the dont now how to recycling, this is waywe need to spreaed envirolmant awareness on tv ,artical, newzpeaper, and after that we need to reduice the carbon on the air by lower using the car and use transport, i beleve thet if every person do this the amont of waste on the nature is going to less.
on the other hand some people see that this is no point of recycle and we are just waste time and the best solation of that is by consume less the prodart that we use it and that mean less using of factory and rubich and as result of that less carbon on the air and also less waste on the envirolment becous factory produse blast

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear overall preference for recycling, and you also introduce the opposing view that people should consume less. However, the discussion is only partial: the case for recycling is mentioned mainly as a general claim, while the argument for consuming less is brief and not supported with a specific example. The point about reducing car use and raising awareness is relevant, but it shifts towards transport and emissions without explaining how these measures compare with recycling or reduced consumption. The response also falls short of the required minimum length, which limits how fully you can develop both views and your opinion. To improve, explain the benefits and limitations of each approach and support them with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: you state your opinion, develop the recycling view, and signal the contrasting view with “on the other hand.” This gives the reader a general sense of the response’s direction. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the sentence beginning “to beigin with” moves from household recycling to public awareness, transport, and carbon emissions without clear steps between them. The final paragraph also ends abruptly, so the comparison and conclusion are not completed. Use separate sentences for each main point, add clear links explaining cause and effect, and include a concluding statement that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “environment,” “carbon,” “factory,” and “consume less,” so the main topic is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several words are repeated, while frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “waste time” where you mean that recycling is ineffective, and “factory produse blast,” which does not communicate a clear idea. Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “reduce household waste,” “lower carbon emissions,” and “manufacturing processes” would help you explain your ideas more clearly and avoid repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, using forms such as “if every person…” and “as result of that,” but these structures are often inaccurate and the response relies heavily on basic sentence patterns. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout. For instance, “if every person have recyclen” needs a correctly formed verb, and “this number is growin” has an incorrect verb form. Several sentences also lack clear punctuation, making it hard to see where one idea ends and another begins. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “if,” and “although.” Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms during revision.
