Student answer (Band 5.5)

Individuals are stressed because the expansion of environment is more and they thinks we need to start recylcing. While other part of the society thinks that recyclings is not useful they believe we need to consume less.In this essay,i will first discuss both the point of views and give my opinion towards the end.

On one hand, there are individuals who are of the opinion that recycling of the wasted products needs to be start. The primary reason of this belief is it keeps waste out of landfills.Reusing the plastic, glass and paper and make something best out of it will prevent from trashing the plasting and we can sell again new products that made from waste For example ,out of plastic water bottle we can make new kitchen or any new today and sell again.Another main reason for masses to have this stand point out is that saves natural resources. Making products from recycled plastic or paper means we cut down fewer trees and mine fewwer raw materials.

On the other hands, there are those who seems to be convinced with the fact that doing recycling is not just enough for enivorment they says consuming less is needed. The foremost reason of this belief is recycling still uses energy.Process old materials again to make some goods requires more energy ,light, factories and fuel that will trigger environment more. For example, the air that come out of industries during reproduction of items that goes direct the nearer forests and it will affects the trees. Furthermore, not everything can be recycled. Many plastic cannot be processed again and end up trashing and floating in the ocean anyway.

To conclude,in line with the views presented above it is evident that both these differing views hold on to their respective positions and sense of relevance.I,however,am of the outlook that old and wasted items can the used again by making it best out of waste from it.In today's contemprary era this is crucial method is used by most of the traders or factory owners around the world, moreover recycled products lasts long.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph explains that recycling keeps waste out of landfills and can conserve resources, while the second argues that recycling uses energy and cannot process every material. Your opinion is present in the conclusion, where you favour reusing waste, but it is not fully clear how you weigh this against the view that people should consume less. The discussion also contains ideas that need clearer explanation: for example, the claim that industrial emissions affect nearby forests is not directly connected to why reduced consumption is preferable. Develop the comparison and state your position more explicitly throughout, supporting it with a relevant, clearly explained example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through the discussion. Linking phrases such as “On one hand,” “On the other hands,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages, although some are used mechanically or inaccurately. Within paragraphs, ideas sometimes run together: the recycling example moves from making products to selling them without a clear explanation, and the conclusion combines several claims in one long sentence. Use clearer sentence boundaries and make each example explicitly support the paragraph’s main point. More precise referencing would also help readers follow what “this” and “it” refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “landfills,” “natural resources,” “recycled,” and “raw materials,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “expansion of environment,” “make something best out of it,” and “reproduction of items.” Spelling errors, including “recylcing,” “enivorment,” and “contemprary,” also make the writing less fluent to read. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe the “growth of environmental concern,” say that recycling “turns waste into new products,” and refer to “manufacturing” rather than “reproduction” of goods.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including explanations introduced by “The primary reason” and “Furthermore.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “they thinks,” “recycling … needs to be start,” and “the air that come out of industries … it will affects the trees.” Several sentences also lack clear grammatical boundaries, particularly in the conclusion. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each clause for a complete subject and verb. For example, write “They think we need to recycle” and “The air released by factories can harm nearby trees.”
