Student answer (Band 5.0)

recycling plays an important and crucial part in keeping the healthy and peaceful environment.recycling can be very benefical for atmoshphere.there is rapid increase in the production of plastic industries and factories.

however,if we campared the awarness of people about recycling product from past,it stated that, there was very less amount of people who knew about the importance of recycling.nowdays, most of the people gives importance to recyle process, beacuse it plays a significant part in making the environment clean and pure.Almost all modren companies now makes their product very environment friendly. They can be recycle very easily.thats why there is a growing number of concerns regarding recycling.because their is a lot of products that can be recycle very easily.the concern is that more and more people are choosing to recycle.that is a fact of todays world because there is numerous products that cannot be put in to trash but to recycle such as bottles, papers, soda drivks can e.t.c.the concern regarding to environment is fully genuine and should be examine under best condition.

secondly, some people believe that recycling is not enough to keep our environment safe and green. They suggest that the people should consume less products.because whn we use less product there will be less amount of product to be recycled. In my opinion, I believed that we should use a certain amount of product within limits.so that will not produce any danger to our environment. Also there are so many companies that are producing environment friendly products such as Apple.we can use them the way we want, but for the use of some products, we should be more careful.

in conclusion, i reckon that it is not against the environment if we used such products that can be easily recycle.except for some of them that can be dangerous for the environment.however, we should use products in limits.excess of anything is bad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views: recycling is presented as beneficial, while the second body paragraph introduces the argument for consuming less, and you give a personal position that people should use products within limits. However, the discussion is only partial because the reasons are not developed clearly. The first paragraph repeats that recycling is important and that more people are recycling, but gives little explanation of its environmental impact. The example of bottles and paper is relevant, while the reference to Apple does not clearly show how using its products reduces consumption or harm. Your opinion also shifts between accepting recyclable products and limiting use, so state a direct, consistent position and support each view with a specific explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, with an opening, a paragraph on recycling, a paragraph on consuming less, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two sides. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from public awareness to companies, then to the task’s concern about recycling, without showing how each point connects. Linking words such as “however,” “secondly,” and “in conclusion” provide some signposting, but connections are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, and “because” is repeatedly used to begin or join ideas. Several sentences repeat the same point rather than advancing the discussion. Group related reasons together and use clear references and transitions to show cause, contrast, and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling,” “environment friendly,” “consume,” and “products,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and key words are repeated frequently, especially “product,” “environment,” and “recycle.” Several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “keeping the healthy and peaceful environment,” “recycling product,” and “danger to our environment.” Spelling errors—including “benefical,” “atmoshphere,” “awarness,” and “modren”—also make the writing less fluent to read. Build a more precise set of environmental terms and check spelling and word forms; for example, distinguish “recyclable materials” from “recycling” and use natural phrases such as “reduce environmental harm.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional idea in “when we use less product there will be less amount of product to be recycled.” However, the range is limited, and longer constructions are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “most of the people gives,” “companies … makes,” and “They can be recycle.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also frequently unclear: many sentences begin with lowercase letters, and full stops are missing or replaced by commas, as in the opening. These patterns sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, passive forms (“can be recycled”), articles and plurals, and divide long or joined ideas into complete sentences.
