Student answer (Band 4.5)
In the salad days of millennium, the society polarized into two groups almost equally regarding the nation that eco-tourism is growing rapidly and many people follow this trend while others believe that this is not enough. Different people have different mindset. In my opinion formar propositions appears to be rational. The following paragraphs would shed light on the both approaches before reaching the final conclusion.
To commence with the first nation, there are myriad of reasons to be shared in its favour. The first and foremost reason is lower pollution. To explain it, when people do recycle things in their daily life the amount of wastage decrease day by day, in this way the amount of pollution also decrease which is very good for environment. Another pivotal aspect is it has a good for our surrounding because if people do not recycle the things they throw it in anywhere which is very harmful for our society and individuals. Thus it is clear that eco-tourism is very crucial for our society.
Shifting towards the second school of thought, the use of less things is the best solution for eco-tourism. Now a days most of people buy new cloths and shoes for their basic needs and these things do not recycle. As a result, individuals do not buy a lots of cloths in their daily life they do control to buy new things. Furthermore, it is very negative trend and take a much space to recycle things. As a result, most of animals lose their habitat due to eco-tourism they face many difficulties to find a new place for their living.
Hammering the last nail, there are plenty of strong factors supporting eco-tourism trend. Although, the contrary cannot be overlooked either.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response attempts to discuss recycling and consuming less, and it gives a position in favour of the first view. However, the task is addressed only minimally because the discussion repeatedly shifts to “eco-tourism,” which is not the issue in the prompt, and the opening refers to a “nation” rather than the two approaches. The recycling paragraph offers relevant points about waste and pollution, but the explanation is unclear and repetitive. The consumption paragraph mentions buying fewer clothes and shoes, yet does not clearly explain how reducing consumption helps the environment; the claim about animals losing habitat is also not logically connected. The conclusion does not restate a clear, reasoned opinion. Keep the focus on recycling versus consuming less and support each view with a specific, relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is an identifiable essay shape, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a closing sentence. Transitions such as “To commence with” and “Shifting towards” signal movement between sections. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are linked mechanically and some connections are unclear. For example, the move from buying fewer clothes to animals losing habitat is not explained, while “As a result” is used for relationships that do not follow clearly. The final sentence, “Although, the contrary cannot be overlooked either,” does not resolve the discussion or connect clearly to the stated preference. Use simpler, more direct links between claim, explanation, and example, and make the conclusion summarise your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response attempts a range of formal expressions, including “pivotal aspect,” “myriad of reasons,” and “school of thought.” However, many choices are inaccurate or unnatural, and repeated use of “eco-tourism” makes the central topic unclear. Phrases such as “the first nation,” “the amount of wastage,” and “it has a good for our surrounding” do not express the intended ideas precisely. There are also spelling and word-form errors, including “formar,” “cloths,” and “Now a days.” These problems sometimes strain the reader’s understanding, despite the effort to use varied vocabulary. Prioritise accurate topic vocabulary—such as recycling, waste, consumption, and environmental impact—and choose natural collocations over ornate phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and complex sentences, including conditional clauses such as “if people do not recycle” and a sentence beginning “Although.” Some basic meaning is conveyed, but errors are frequent and several sentence patterns are faulty. For example, “the amount of wastage decrease” and “pollution also decrease” have subject–verb agreement errors; “most of people” and “a lots of cloths” show problems with articles and number. The sentence “As a result, individuals do not buy a lots of cloths in their daily life they do control to buy new things” joins ideas without correct punctuation or structure. Work on agreement, articles, plural forms, and sentence boundaries, and build complex sentences only when their relationships are clear.
