Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this concurrent world, it is undoubtedly true that concern about environment and majority of people tend to recycle their debris is consider to be an impactful aspect. Some people deem that recycling is not only a sufficient way, residents should consume less in order to reduce waste. However, i quibble from them and propound that although recycling improves waste management, consuming less plays a vital role for environmental benefits. This essay will elaborate my reasons for the same in upcoming paragraphs which i will lead to a logical conclusion.
There are adequate evidence of this view which are substainable. The top notch concrete reason is recycling plays a viable role for managing enviromental sustainability. In other words, recycling helps to reduce the amount of waste contacts to landfill. For instance, people use recyclable materials such as tote bags, handmade bags instead of using plastic bags which have profound effects on both environment as well as on health. As a result, they can use materials for a longer period of time and reduce the need of energy to manufacture recyclable materials. Therefore, it is clear that recycling debris has certainly undenial merits which cannot be neglect.
What is full half for some, may appear half empty to others. So people in general tend to distinguish that recycling materials is not a sustainable way enough. It means that, minority of products consider not to be recycle efficiently. For instance, people can use an alternative by carrying their own refill water bottles to drink as plastic bottles has a devasted impact on nature. As a result, individuals eventually prevents buying plastic bottles which indirectly supports our argument.
Succinctly, I reiterate that there are plenty of strong factors supporting awareness about recycling utilities. However, in my opinion reducing consumption and recycling materials should go hand by hand, as it proliferates the biodiversity and an essential priority for protecting our environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a position: recycling helps manage waste, while reducing consumption is also important. The examples of tote bags and refillable bottles are relevant, and the conclusion reinforces your preference for combining the two approaches. However, the discussion is uneven. The recycling paragraph explains its benefits, but the opposing view—that recycling alone is insufficient—is only briefly developed, and the refillable-bottle example mainly supports consuming less rather than explaining the limits of recycling. Develop this point by explaining why some materials cannot be recycled effectively or why recycling still uses resources, then connect that reasoning clearly to your opinion. This would make the response more fully developed across all parts of the task. (94 words)
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion. The main ideas generally progress from the benefits of recycling to the case for reducing consumption, and phrases such as “For instance” and “As a result” help signal examples and consequences. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. “What is full half for some, may appear half empty to others” does not clearly introduce the argument, and “Therefore” and “As a result” sometimes repeat a predictable pattern. The reference in “which indirectly supports our argument” is also vague. Use more direct topic sentences and make each linking phrase express the precise relationship between ideas; this would strengthen the flow and clarity of the argument. (104 words)
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related and less common vocabulary, including “waste management,” “landfill,” “recyclable materials” and “biodiversity.” These choices show ambition, but several are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “recycle their debris,” “waste contacts to landfill,” “recycling utilities” and “proliferates the biodiversity” do not express the intended meanings naturally. There are also spelling errors, such as “substainable,” “enviromental” and “undenial.” Prefer clear, accurate collocations over ornate phrases such as “top notch concrete reason.” For example, use “recycle household waste,” “waste sent to landfill” and “protects biodiversity.” Proofreading spelling and checking how unfamiliar words combine with other words would make your vocabulary more effective and reliable. (101 words)
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex forms, including a concession in “although recycling improves waste management” and a relative clause in “which have profound effects.” The overall meaning is usually understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence structure, agreement and articles. For example, “There are adequate evidence” should be “There is adequate evidence,” while “people tend to recycle their debris is consider” has an unclear, faulty construction. In “plastic bottles has a devasted impact,” the subject and verb do not agree; “individuals eventually prevents” has the same issue. Review singular and plural agreement, article use, and sentence boundaries, and simplify constructions when needed. More consistently accurate complex sentences would improve control without sacrificing range. (100 words)
