Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this comtemprary ere, concern for the environment is increasing and more individuals are selecting to recycle, whereas few individuals suggest that recycling is not enough. This eassy will examine both perspectives before presenting my viewpoints in the upcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, there are multifarious points of chossing recyle to justify this phenomenon. The first and foremost one is to limitations. To be more precise, nowadays, recycling is good for human being because with the help of recycle they can easily protect the environment with any problem like, from using some bag rather than plastic items. they use limit. Furthermore, another worth noticable point is to energy savings. To eleborate it, processing recycled goods often uses less energy than extracting and refining brand-new virgin materials (for instance, recycling plastic bottles saves significant electricity).

On the flip side, despite having some points of choosing to recycle, there are also some pints of recycling is not enough which can not be neglected. The most significant points is to lower ecological footprint. To explain it, buying fewer items directly cuts down on factory pollution, habitat destruction, and greenhouse gas emissions tied to mass manufacturing. Secondly points is to challenging consumerism. To eleborate it, this mindset targets the linear "take-make-dispose" economic model rather than just treating the symptoms of overproduction.

In conclusion, although there are myriad points of choosing recycle as limitations and energy savings, yet some points of not enough like lower ecological footprint and challenging consumerism which can not be ignored.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views by discussing recycling’s potential energy savings and the benefits of consuming less, including reduced pollution and pressure on habitats. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the recycling paragraph’s point about limiting use is unclear, and the example about using bags instead of plastic items is difficult to interpret. The second view has more specific consequences, but these are asserted rather than explained with a concrete example. Your own opinion is not clearly stated; the conclusion summarises both sides without saying which you support or how you weigh them. To strengthen the response, explain each main idea with a clear example and state your position directly in the introduction and conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “To commence with,” “On the flip side,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad progression. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, with repeated patterns such as “The first and foremost one,” “Furthermore,” and “Secondly points.” Some sentences within the recycling paragraph are difficult to connect because the explanation shifts from protecting the environment to using bags and limiting use without a clear relationship. The conclusion also repeats the body’s labels rather than drawing the discussion together. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear sequence, with references that show how examples support it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “ecological footprint,” “habitat destruction,” “greenhouse gas emissions,” and “linear ‘take-make-dispose’ economic model.” These choices show an effort to discuss environmental issues beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable and sometimes make meaning harder to follow: “comtemprary ere,” “eassy,” “chossing recyle,” and “pints” appear in the response. Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “points of choosing recycle as limitations” and “worth noticable point is to energy savings.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “benefits of recycling” rather than “points of choosing recycle,” and “reduces energy consumption” rather than “is to energy savings.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer structures, including “although there are… yet…” and the sentence explaining that buying fewer items cuts pollution and emissions. However, the range is limited, and complex constructions are often not controlled accurately. For example, “The first and foremost one is to limitations” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “there are also some pints of recycling is not enough” combines incompatible sentence patterns. Agreement and sentence boundaries also need attention in “The most significant points is” and in the lowercase “they” after a full stop. These errors can make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, and punctuation in each sentence.
