Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, the people concern about the environment because of the increasing in the carbon emission and that is harming the ozone layer due to that heat on earth and skin disease increased. I believe that choosing the recycling is must efficient way to prevent environment.
Globally, the people prefer to stay connected to the environment. Government provide fund or security to form organization for prevent trees and recycle plastic products. Also, for providing awareness about benefit of recycling plastic products to citizens and students. In country like the USA authorities plan to provide startup funds to the people to open a company and recycling the waste products. In many countries, companies get benefit of the carbon token by recycling carbon products. It help them in tax reduction and other facilities.
Moreover, government provide rewards on base of how we reuse electronic products. The some people argue that the recycling is not enough to resolve this crises we need to consume less. But, I believe that the consuming less is not a solution because is not possible to maintain the whole country consuming capacity. So, recycling is one of the best option to save environment from wastage.
In conclusion, people now aware about environment benefits and causes. Government also play important role to save environment and provide funds for managing events related environment. Many startups used waste product to recycle and produce better quality product. while, some people argue is not enough but today the recycling is the best choose to save environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear preference for recycling, stating that it is an effective way to protect the environment, and you include relevant examples such as government support for recycling businesses and incentives for reusing electronic products. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the argument for consuming less receives little explanation: you mention that some people hold this view, but do not explain why reducing consumption could help or provide an example. Your reason for rejecting it—that it is not possible for a whole country to maintain lower consumption—is also unclear and unsupported. Develop both positions more evenly, then explain your own view with a specific reason or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by topic. Linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between sections. However, progression within the paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from environmental organisations to public awareness, start-up funding and carbon tokens without clearly connecting these examples to a central argument. The contrast between recycling and consuming less is introduced late and not developed. Some links, including “while” at the start of the final sentence, are awkward or unclear. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s purpose and connect examples explicitly to your claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “carbon emission,” “ozone layer,” “recycle plastic products,” “electronic products” and “tax reduction.” This gives the response a suitable environmental focus, and phrases such as “startup funds” show an attempt to use more specific language. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are unnatural, which sometimes makes the intended meaning less clear. Examples include “the people concern about the environment,” “carbon token,” and “the best choose.” Repetition of “environment,” “recycling” and “products” also limits flexibility. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for consumption, waste reduction and environmental policy, and check word forms and natural phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a contrast introduced by “but.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For example, “Government provide fund” has problems with the article, noun form and subject–verb agreement, while “because is not possible” lacks a clear subject. The opening sentence also combines several ideas without secure grammatical control, and “The some people argue” shows difficulty with articles and sentence structure. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and complete clauses first, then build longer sentences using one clear main idea and a correctly formed subordinate clause.
