Student answer (Band 5.0)
Concern for the environment is growing and more and more some individuals are choosing to recycles while others people suggest that recycling is not enough they believe we need consume lass.In my view recycling is useful but this is not enough we use less and we also need to control unneecessary things to reduce pollutions in environment.
Recycle is useful to growth environment. In additionally it help to reduce pollutions and make environment free from pollutions for instance, the plastic bottle use again after recycling this reduce dust in environment .As a result the snake clean environment and clean your and we live healthy life.
sometimes recycling is not enough we need to control our uses have it.If we control to use plastic bag then it's have to reduce environmental pollutions and also help to growth in environment more and more. Recycling process also create environmental pollution so we also control our daily uses things to reduce some pollutions.
I believe that we need to consume lace when we consume lace then we didn't need to recycles and this have to growth in my roommate while people live happily and healthy. uses things unlimited more sustainableand decrease pollutions. These is have to save many things like save money and safe environment. for example if we used in limited then we save our money and also we safe the environment.
In conclusion,This both statements is beneficial but consume iteams less is more effective then recycling process. however we used less than we control pollution with our own self ee didn't need any recycling process.i believe this is convenient and good habits to used iteams in limited. Therefore i should say ysed things less and save environment and live healthy life .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views by explaining that recycling can reuse plastic bottles and that reducing consumption may prevent pollution at its source. Your opinion is also stated: consuming less is more effective. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The recycling example is brief, and the claim that recycling itself creates pollution is not explained or supported. Several points, such as saving money and living healthily, are repeated without showing clearly how they support your argument. The position is present, but its reasoning is not consistently clear. To strengthen the response, explain each view with a specific cause-and-effect example, then compare their effectiveness directly. The response meets the stated length requirement; 21 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs about recycling and reducing consumption, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of the discussion’s direction. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and connections between ideas are sometimes unclear. For example, “As a result the snake clean environment and clean your” does not clearly connect to the preceding example, while the final paragraph repeats the preference for consuming less without adding a distinct concluding reason. Linking phrases such as “In addition” and “For example” are attempted, but some are used inaccurately or do not clarify the relationship between claims. Organise each paragraph around one main point and follow it with a clear explanation and relevant example.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycling,” “plastic bag,” “environmental pollution,” and “consume less,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the vocabulary range is basic and repetitive, with “environment,” “pollution,” and “use” appearing frequently. Several inaccurate word choices or forms make meaning difficult to understand, such as “growth environment,” “the snake clean environment,” and “consume lace.” Spelling errors, including “unneecessary,” “pollutions,” and “iteams,” also reduce clarity. Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check word forms and spelling. More precise expressions such as “reduce waste” or “limit consumption” would help you explain environmental effects without repeating the same general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some basic linking structures, such as “If we control to use plastic bag then…” However, sentence patterns are limited, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently enough to make several ideas hard to follow. For example, “this is not enough we use less” joins two clauses without appropriate punctuation or a connector, and “this both statements is beneficial” has problems with agreement and sentence structure. In “we didn't need to recycles,” the verb form after “need to” is incorrect. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clear conjunctions and correct verb forms. Use full stops to separate complete ideas.
