Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response makes a general attempt to discuss environmental responsibility and expresses a preference for people to improve their behaviour, but it does not address the two views in the question: recycling and consuming less. Most of the essay focuses instead on religion, traditional culture, personal ethics, and children’s futures, so it is largely off-topic. The Nathigali trip is mentioned, but the changes observed there are not connected to recycling or reduced consumption. Your own position is also difficult to identify clearly: the final paragraphs refer to a “good environment” without explaining which approach you support or why. To improve, discuss both recycling and consuming less directly, give relevant reasons and examples, and state your opinion explicitly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response into paragraphs, and phrases such as “In my perspective” signal an effort to introduce a viewpoint. However, the ideas do not progress in a clear sequence: the opening moves from recycling to a trip, then to religion and cultural change, while later paragraphs repeat general claims about a better environment and future. Connections between sentences are often unclear, and several long strings of ideas make it difficult to see how one point leads to the next. Use a simple structure—one paragraph for each view, followed by your opinion—and make each paragraph develop one main point. Clear topic sentences and more precise links between claims and examples would improve the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response attempts some topic-related and abstract vocabulary, including “traditional culture,” “responsibility,” “society,” and “future,” showing a basic ability to express general ideas. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and frequent spelling and word-form errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “envirnoment,” “prespective,” and “responsibilty.” Several phrases are also unnatural, including “measure and check and balance their habits” and “demanding future on his.” Build a more accurate set of words for the actual topic, such as “recycling,” “waste,” “consumption,” and “natural resources,” and check spelling and collocations. More precise vocabulary would help communicate your ideas without relying on repeated references to a “good environment.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to write extended sentences and use some clauses, for example, “if they have make a good environment,” but control of sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries occur throughout: “people concerns,” “our religion have not allowed,” and “after all that we die” are examples. Some sentences run together without clear punctuation, which obscures the relationships between ideas. There is also limited evidence of accurately controlled sentence patterns, so the reader must often work to interpret the intended meaning. Practise building clear simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with accurate verb forms and punctuation. For example, separate the trip anecdote from the point you want it to support.
