Student answer (Band 5.0)
Environmental improvement is the polpular argument nowadays, throughout the new generation. Majority of the people are trying to use the things that are being recyclable, while the others are not concidering that the recycling process is not so effective. In this assey we are going to discuss about both point of views through different examples.
On the one hand, if we talk about the recycling point of view. It is more effective for the people who are able or willing to use recycled products in their daily life. For instance, water bottles and fizzy drink bottles are recycled and used throughout again and again in the different areas. Additionally, some poor people in my home town also use different type of clothes like elder gives their clothes to younger onces after some alteration.
On the other hand, when we are discussing about the other view, while some individuals are not favor recycling the things. Maybe they think that reuse of things are harmful or not good for the people. For example, huge plastic recycling factories are paramount harmful for the people and the environment also. In addition, some recycled products are also not good for the health of the people such as water bottles and food manufacturing plants.
In conclusion, i believe that both of the views have different type of advantages and disadvantages because it depends on the situations like if it beneficial for the environment or health that things have to be recycled for the development.Last but not the least, if it is harmful the people is not right.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response recognises both views and includes examples, such as bottles being reused and clothes passed from older to younger people. However, it only partially addresses the central comparison: the task asks whether recycling is enough or whether people should consume less, but the essay mainly discusses recycling and gives little explanation of reducing consumption. The second view is also presented as opposition to recycling rather than as a case for consuming less. Your own position is difficult to identify: the conclusion says both views have advantages and disadvantages, then suggests recycling depends on health and environmental effects, without clearly stating whether consumption should be reduced. Develop each view directly and give a consistent, supported opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps readers follow the broad direction of the response. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven: the examples about bottles and donated clothes do not clearly build an argument about whether recycling is sufficient, while the second paragraph shifts to possible harms from factories and products rather than developing the consumption argument. Some linking phrases are mechanical or awkward, including “In this assey we are going to discuss” and “Last but not the least.” Make each paragraph’s main point explicit, then connect each example to that point and use references such as “this approach” clearly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “recycling process,” “recycled products,” “environment,” and “harmful,” and the examples make the subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument unclear. For example, “use the things that are being recyclable” is not a natural way to describe choosing recyclable products, and “paramount harmful” does not express the intended meaning. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “polpular,” “concidering,” and “assey.” Aim for precise terms that distinguish recycling, reusing, and reducing consumption, and check spelling and common word combinations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts both simple and more extended sentence forms, including conditional phrasing such as “if it beneficial for the environment or health.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, and sentence structure sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “Majority of the people are trying,” “reuse of things are harmful,” and “if it beneficial,” where the grammatical relationships are incomplete or inconsistent. The final sentence, “if it is harmful the people is not right,” is also difficult to interpret because its clauses are not clearly formed. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and complete conditional sentences, and use punctuation to separate ideas.
