The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The charts illustrate the number of French people whose guardians spoke a regional language to them in childhood and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.
Overall, parents seemed to speak Occitan more occasionally and habitually, whereas Alsatian is the most spoken regional French language by adults to their own children. Similarly, Corsican is the least spoken language among all.
Six hundred thousand parents used to speak Alsatian and Occitan habitually when they were children. followed by Breton, Creole, and Corsican. Additionally, Occitan is the language that is spoken by over a million parents occasionally. Only 100 thousand people spoke Corsican occasionally.
However, a similar pattern is seen in the adults who speak Alsatian to their own children, which is around four hundred thousand. Both Creole and Breton are spoken by quite a similar number, which is under a hundred million adults, to their children.
