The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

There are five French languages shown in the charts which are Alsatian, Occitan, Breton, Creole and Corsican. The first comparison is between languages which are either spoken habitually or occasionally by the number of adults whose parents spoke a regional language to them in childhood. The Alsatian and Occitan languages are spoken habitually by 600,000 adults, which is the largest number in comparison to other languages. Breton, Creole and Corsican has lesser number of speakers ranging from [redacted phone] to 50000. whereas, Occitan has most number of casual speakers and Corsican again has the lowest number.
