The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart given illustrates the frequency of adults whose parents spoke a French regional language them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own kids.

A university lecturer demonstrate the number of a specific generation who communicate their kids in regional language in comparison with their own parents spoke regional language with them.

The bar chart shows five different modules of language which cannot be read clearly due to bad quality of image. Overall, two column shown in one chart that expresses two different tables spoken habitually and spoken occasionally respectively. Analyzing through, language spoken by adults parents in their childhood in daily routine is lesser than on special events.

Firstly is Alsatian and Occitan were on same margin in habits but on occasion Occitan raised rapidly while Alsatian dropped down. Breton increased occasionally as compared to inside communication. Whereas Creole and Corsican remained lower in habitual and increased mildly in occasions.

In comparison, number of adults who speak a French regional to their own children rates different. Alsatian is on the high line throughout, While Occitan is approximately half of it. While other three languages speak very lower.

In conclusion, Alsatian and Occitan remain common in both generations.
