The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The bar graph illustrates the number of adults whose parents spoke to them in french language habitually and occasionally and the number of adults who speak to their own children in french.

Overall, occitan adults accounted for the highest share Approximately 1 million whoose parents spoke occasionally, whereas corsican adults represented the lowest proportion who spoke a regional language.

To commence with, the occitan adults whose parents spoke regional language habitually stood at around 600 lakhs, similarly aisatian retained an almost same position, while breton recorded a dramatic fall to about 50%, representing approximately 300 lakhs. Creole and corsican adults accounting for about 100 and 80 lakhs respectively. In contrast, occitan adults whose parents spoke occasionally experienced a drastic surge to around 1.2 million, however aistian adults recorded a dramatic fall to about 280 lakhs, While breton adults witnessed a upward trend to 400 lakhs. Futhermore, creole and corsican showed minimal fluctuations over time.
