The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Overall, Occitan was mainly spoken habitually and occasionally to the adult when

they were younger. Adults mostly speak alsatian to their own children. Corsican was the least spoken in all the categories.

The number of adults whose parents spoke Alsatian to habitually in childhood were 600 while approximately 400 were occasionally spoken to. Occitan was spoken to appoximately 600 and 1.1m adults habitually and occassionally respectively. Approximately 250 and 400 adults were spoken to in Breton habitualy and occasionally respectively. Approximately 100 and 110 adults were spoken to in Creole habitually and occasionally respectively. Corsican was spoken to approximately 80 adults habitually while 100 adults were spoken to occasionally.

The number of adults who speak Alsatian to their own children were 400 while approximately 250 adults speak Occitan. Approximately 95 adults speak Breton to their children and approximately 90 adult speak Creole. Corsican was least spoken by adult to their children which recorded approximately 60.
