The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

Student answer (Band 4.5)

The bar graphs provide data about a number of younger whose parents speaks a regional language to them in childhood.

Overall, most probably parents spoke a Occitan language in occasionally whereas, maximum amount of adults prefer Alsatian language nonetheless, Corsican language were lest chosen among parents and younger.

After analyzing the chart, it can be clearly seen that Alsatian and Occitan habitually languages have same proportion which accounted foy 600 compare to occasionally language which was speaking around 200 and 1m parents respectively. Breton habitually language stood at about 300 however, it was escalated by 100 in occasions. Whilst, Creole and Corsican languages have negligible different in both preferences which responsible for 100.

Furthermore, chart illustrates the information about adults who spoke regional language to their children. 400 thousand adults speaks Alsatian language however, nearby 100 adults were spoke Corsican language to their children. On the other hand, 250 adults spoke Occitan while, there were small different can be seen in Breton and Creole regional language.
