The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given bar chart illustrates the total number of adults their parents speak regional language to them in their childhood, while other bar chart displays the total numbers of adult that speak regional language to their kids.

Overall, the both charts describe the total amount of speakers of regional language, but the chart divided by two categories, while the second chart only displays the total number of adults those are spoke regional language to their children.

Firslty, the chart that present at the very top is categorize in two ways like, those that speaks regional tounge habitually and other that speaks on occasionally. The graph shows higher numbers in habitually speaking of Alsatian than the occasional. However, the Occitan shows very low numbers which is 600 thousand as compared to occasionl speakers which is approximately 1.1 million people.

On the other hand, the second graph shows the adults that spoke their regional tounge with their kids, however the Alsatian show the highest number estimated to 400 thousand people at the same time the coursican gives the lowest numbers which is approximately 60 thousand people.
