The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The bar charts compare the number of individuals whose parents spoke a regional language to them when were kids both habitually and ocassionally.The other bar chart shows figure for adults who speak a regional languge to their own kids.

Overall,The number of adults whose parents spoke regional languages with them was higher than those who speak to their kids.The number of parents and their kids who spoke creole and corsican was the least.However, occitan was spoken significantly by parents on the specific ocassion, but now less parents speak to their kids.

The figure for adults whose parents spoke Alsatian language to them were 600 thousand and above 200 thousand, habitually and occasionally respectively.This figure rose to 600 thousand when it comes to adults who speak this language to their kids.However, the speakers of creole and corsican were remained around 200 thousand in both generations.

The figure of adults whose parents spoke occitan habitually and occasionally were at 600 thousand and above 1 million respectively. while, this number decreased significantly when it comes to the adults who spoke to their kids.
