The charts below show the number of French adults whose parents spoke a French regional language to them when they were children and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children.

Overall, occitian leads highest in both spoken habitually and spoken occasionally . While, corsican is spoken very less in spoken habituallly and occasionally. And also in terms of adult who speak a regional language to their own childern.
Alsatian holds the second position with 600 thousand people speaking habitually and occitan holds first plce with 620 thousand people. Breton and creole has 320 thousand people and 100 thousand people respectively. Whereas corsican is spoken least compare to other language with 180 thousand people spoken habitually.
