Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response is completely off-topic. The prompt asks for a discussion regarding stress in modern society versus the past, but the essay discusses the health impacts of non-vegetarian food. Because the response fails to address the prompt entirely, it cannot be assessed for task achievement regarding the specific question asked. Additionally, the response is under the 250-word minimum requirement, which further impacts the score. To improve, you must carefully read the prompt and ensure your arguments directly relate to the specific topic provided.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with' and 'On the other side'. However, the logical progression is hindered by the fact that the content does not relate to the prompt. The use of linking words is sometimes mechanical, and the essay ends abruptly with a trailing sentence, indicating a lack of proper conclusion and structural control.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary range is limited and contains several errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'odestiy' (obesity), 'mussels' (muscles), and 'flevarable' (flavorful). There is also misuse of terminology, such as 'prior product' and 'non-veg food'. While the writer attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary related to nutrition, the lack of precision and frequent spelling errors limit the ability to convey ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay relies on simple sentence structures with frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'people are more intend to consuming' (people are more inclined to consume) and 'eating meat... get difficulties' (causes difficulties). There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and preposition usage, such as 'Regarding to this' and 'on some extent'. These errors occur frequently and occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning.
