Student answer (Band 5.5)
Accourding to me stress is some thing which happen to victim by their own mistake. I agree with first point of view because if i see latest scientists researches i came to know about that stress is affecting more humans than in past. The reason for this is todays generation is totally different from past. In past people like to eat organic food and work hard to enjoy their life. But present generation is not able to eat organic food or healthy food which is good for their health. This affect their health and also make them to suffer from stress. One of the main reason of suffering from stress is mobile phone. Too much use of mobile phone make us to suffer from stress. Morning walk is also very important for our health. This make our body to be away from stress. So these are some common example of having stress. In past there are to mush healthy activities that were played by people. That people were always try to involve into different kind of activities but we miss this from our recent generation. Today world has become so fast that makes human very slow. In factories machines has more role than humans. This makes a lot of difference between todays generation and our past generation. Latest technology has huge affect on our recent generation to become very slow. Our generation need to work hard and came our from stress

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to address the prompt adequately. While it acknowledges the first viewpoint, it fails to discuss the second viewpoint (that stress is exaggerated and previous generations were under more pressure) in any meaningful way. The essay is also under the 250-word minimum, which negatively impacts the development of ideas. The position is somewhat clear, but the arguments are repetitive and lack relevant evidence or logical development. To improve, you must ensure both sides of the argument are explored with specific examples and that you meet the minimum word count requirement to allow for full development of your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no paragraphing, which makes the text difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as the repetitive use of 'In past' and 'Today'. The progression of ideas is disjointed, and the lack of clear topic sentences makes it hard to identify the focus of the writing. To improve, you should organize your essay into clear paragraphs: an introduction, two body paragraphs (one for each viewpoint), and a conclusion. Use linking words like 'furthermore', 'conversely', and 'consequently' to connect your ideas logically.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'make us to suffer from stress' and 'latest scientists researches' are unnatural and indicate a lack of control over collocation. There is little attempt to use less common lexical items or academic vocabulary. Many words are used incorrectly, such as 'victim' and 'slow' in the context of modern life. To improve, focus on learning collocations (e.g., 'conduct research' instead of 'scientists researches') and synonyms for common words like 'stress' and 'past' to avoid constant repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('machines has', 'this make'), article usage ('in past'), and sentence structure. The essay relies almost entirely on simple sentences, with very few attempts at complex structures. When complex structures are attempted, they are often inaccurate, such as 'This make our body to be away from stress'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and pluralization. Practice using subordinating conjunctions like 'although', 'because', and 'while' to create more complex and accurate sentences.
