In some societies, stress is now regarded as a major problem, and it is thought that people suffer from more stress than they did in the past. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The essay addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The argument regarding previous generations is slightly confusing, as the text suggests they had 'less technological development' but then argues this caused more stress, which is a valid point but lacks depth. The second body paragraph touches on modern stressors like AI and social media, but the explanation remains superficial. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or logical explanations for why these factors lead to increased stress levels in modern society.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and grammatical errors, such as 'This essay will discussed both porspects before why my opinion is...'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. While the paragraphing is appropriate, the internal cohesion within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, making the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'workd', 'generatons', 'strass', 'socitey', 'comeption') and word choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'manual way was not essay' instead of 'easy', 'long overs working' instead of 'long hours'). While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'globalisation' and 'fast-paced environment', the persistent spelling and collocation errors hinder the overall quality. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to catch basic spelling mistakes and ensure that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('previous generation has more stress', 'people has to work') and incorrect verb forms ('This essay will discussed'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage, before attempting more complex structures.
