Student answer (Band 5.0)
Stress is viewed differently by different societies. Some people see stress as big issue now a days compared to before while others people think it is just exaggerated now as pressure is always present weather it is in present or past.
In my opinion, individuals are suffering more in present because of the unrealistic hopes expecting from them specially in this economy. They have to provide for their family and for themselves but due to other's expectation and worst economy of the time makes them anxious. For instance, in the past, one person's earning was enough to sustain the basic lifestyle of their household while now a days people have to do multiple jobs to sustain the same lifestyle.
While other side of the opinion that says that stress is just hyped up in todays era. People are always under constant pressure because of many reasons, such as finaces, family or life in itself, but now they are not handling it very well and says they are stressed. For example, in previous era, they had to work hard for their family's neccesaties all while their were not many helpful technologies.
feeling anxious is a true phenomina and it is not exxagerated it's just that in previous era, talking about your struggle was seen as weakness while today's people priorities their mental heath and wellbeing simultaniously struggling with problems

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the arguments. While the ideas are relevant, they are under-developed; for example, the comparison between past and present economic pressures is mentioned but lacks specific, well-supported evidence. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you must expand on your points with more detailed explanations and examples to meet the length requirement and demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical. Transitions between ideas, such as 'While other side of the opinion', are grammatically awkward and hinder the flow. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical progression between sentences is sometimes disjointed. To reach a higher band, you should use a wider variety of linking words and phrases (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') to connect your ideas more naturally and improve the overall cohesion of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher score. There are several spelling errors, such as 'finaces', 'neccesaties', 'phenomina', and 'exxagerated', which distract the reader. The word choice is often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'stress' and 'pressure'. To improve, you should focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and collocations related to the topic of mental health and societal change, while ensuring that your spelling is accurate throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'others people think', 'weather it is in present', and 'their were not many helpful technologies'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with missing commas and incorrect apostrophe usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents a higher score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement, correct preposition usage, and proofreading for common grammatical slips.
