Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, though the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention that modern people are busy and past generations had household chores, the arguments lack depth and specific evidence. For instance, the claim that 'there were no entertainment sources' in the past is a broad generalization that is not fully supported. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a clear, well-reasoned explanation rather than just listing activities. Your position is stated in the introduction, but it could be more clearly integrated into the conclusion to provide a stronger sense of closure.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'To embark upon' are used incorrectly to start the essay, and the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'by which' throughout the text, which creates awkward phrasing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore,' 'consequently,' 'in contrast') and ensure that each sentence flows logically from the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic phrases like 'have a lot of' and 'busy in their lives.' There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'masses have in present time' and 'guests offer visited to each other houses.' To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to the topic of stress and societal change. Avoid repeating the same words in close proximity and focus on using collocations correctly to convey your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. There are consistent issues with article usage ('a plenty of work', 'a lot of workload'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain run-on structures, such as 'As a result, they have A lot of stress, it can be certainly seen...' which should be punctuated as separate sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically the use of articles and correct verb tenses, before attempting more complex structures.
