Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is severely under-length, containing only 126 words against the required minimum of 250 words. This substantial shortfall means the task cannot be fully addressed. The writer attempts to introduce the topic by mentioning that stress is treated as a main issue and notes that some believe previous generations faced greater pressure. However, the discussion remains extremely fragmented and cuts off mid-sentence with 'so the In'. Because the ideas are underdeveloped and the response is incomplete, it falls into Band 4 according to the official task achievement descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The text suffers from poor overall organization and breaks down completely due to the incomplete ending. While the writer attempts to use some cohesive devices such as 'However' and 'Generally', the logical progression is disrupted by sentence fragments, repetitive phrasing, and poor punctuation spacing (e.g., 'However , others'). Paragraphing is poorly controlled, as the response consists of only two abrupt blocks of text, with the second paragraph trailing off unfinished. Consequently, the information is not arranged in a fully coherent manner, aligning with a Band 4 level.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors that strain comprehension. Examples include 'finincial issues', 'the inflation is very less then today', and the awkward phrase 'number of stress people have today is Overstated'. The misuse of words ('number' instead of 'amount' of stress, 'adversity' instead of 'concept' or 'idea') shows a limited lexical range. Although some topic-related words like 'pressure', 'stress', and 'generation' are attempted, frequent word choice errors place this performance at Band 4.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of basic or faulty complex structures. There are frequent errors in punctuation, capitalization, and tense consistency, such as 'people who thinks as a stress is main issue' and 'inflation is very less then today'. Furthermore, the response contains sentence fragments and an incomplete final sentence ('so the In'). These persistent errors frequently distort meaning and impede communication, which reflects the descriptors for Band 4.
