Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this paragraph, I discuss about the how stress effect on the people life vs some poeple think stress are more in past. But we here clearly describe the difference and my point of view. In my prospective stress become depends on the situation how the people is facing. If the situation is good and happy for a person they donot get stress while if the situation undegoes like hard nothing based on the current situtaion like something happen for a person that they not ready for them, they become more stressfull.
For Example, In my village a person lives happy life and their daily life routine became good. They donot face any stress in their life. After a sometime a heavy rain and flood comes. They donot expect about this downfall, they are living their happy life. Now the this is the cause fo stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, containing only 146 words. Consequently, the discussion of both views is extremely limited and under-developed. While the student attempts to provide a personal perspective and an example regarding stress caused by unexpected natural disasters, the task is only partially addressed. The position is unclear and the arguments are not fully extended as required by the prompt. Because the essay is severely under-length, it falls into the lower band categories for task achievement. To improve, the writer must ensure they write at least 250 words and spend adequate time addressing all parts of the prompt in greater depth.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The text is divided into two brief paragraphs, but the overall organisation lacks a clear logical progression. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes misused, such as transitioning abruptly with 'For Example,' without proper integration into the preceding sentence. The referencing throughout the text is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the paragraphs are underdeveloped and fail to structure the argument effectively. To achieve a higher band score, the writer needs to use a wider and more accurate range of cohesive devices and organise their ideas into distinct, well-developed paragraphs with clear topic sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple words like 'happy,' 'life,' 'stress,' and 'situation.' There are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'discuss about the how stress effect on the people life' and 'become stressfull.' Less common vocabulary is attempted with significant inaccuracy, and these lexical limitations cause some difficulty for the reader. To improve, the student should expand their working vocabulary and learn common collocations related to psychological health, work-life balance, and pressure in modern society.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple and attempted complex sentences that are heavily flawed. Frequent errors in grammar, tense usage, and punctuation are evident throughout the text, such as 'they donot get stress while if the situation undegoes like hard' and 'Now the this is the cause fo stress.' These persistent errors frequently impede communication and strain the reader's understanding. To improve, the writer needs to focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and accurate verb tenses, while gradually incorporating more complex grammatical structures.
