You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is widely concerned that stress is now common in modren world and stress create tremendous problem. While, other argue that its exaggerated in the past people were more in trouble and under the pressure. Firstly i will discuss both point of views and then give my opinion.
One on hand, critics thinks that today world people give more imortance to stress. it plays unnecessary role in our indiviual life. if we thinks about the past generation they were less care about the cognitive pressure and faced alot of hard situations as compare to modern world. Whether it is technology related concern or industrial situation. they did not give much importance to strees or they completed avoid i. in their mind the idea of suffering from stress even did not exist.
On the other hand, stress are the major problem in some socities. people are more suffer from stress than they did in the past. nowdays majority of people are more suffer from this type of situation the lack of poverty. people are giving more tough competiton to each. Whether in term of school or college academic pressure or for securing better future for their life.Case in point, in colleges teacher are doing competitions to get higher marks and put pressure on children life. this academic pressure cause alot of stress.due to this type of pressure peoples are doing sucides and the current generation namely Genz they are more stuck in stress situation.
In my opinion. in the current situations stress widely concerned a major problem. Due to the more acdemic pressure all over the world the competiotion is high. every person want to achieve goals in their life,. if we talk about in the past they were less suffer from the stress the competition was not a big problem. so they were less concered about the stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on modern versus past stress levels and providing a clear personal opinion. The student attempts to develop ideas, such as mentioning academic competition and Gen Z, but the support lacks sufficient elaboration and clarity. Phrases like 'majority of people are more suffer from this type of situation the lack of poverty' are confusing and under-developed. Furthermore, the position in the conclusion is somewhat repetitive. While the prompt is addressed, the overall development corresponds to Band 5.5 to 6.0 descriptors due to the lack of precision in supporting arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is organised into distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs representing different views, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by poor cohesive devices and abrupt transitions, such as starting paragraphs with 'One on hand' (grammatical error) and 'On the other hand'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and sentences often feel disconnected, resulting in an overall mechanical flow that fits the Band 5.0 profile.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent word-choice errors that impede natural expression. Examples include 'modren', 'imortance', 'indiviual', and 'poverty' used where another concept was intended. While the student attempts less common items like 'cognitive pressure', these phrases are often awkwardly collated or misused. Spelling mistakes are noticeable throughout the text ('competiotion', 'sucides', 'concered'), placing this performance firmly at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and flawed attempts at complex ones. There are frequent and systematic errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, and sentence boundaries, such as 'stress create tremendous problem', 'critics thinks', and 'peoples are doing sucides'. Punctuation is also erratic, with misplaced periods within sentences. Because errors frequently cause difficulty for the reader and simple structures dominate, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
