Student answer (Band 5.5)
some community is consider that stress is a big problem in a young people and individuals face higher stress than the previous people, while other think that people the amount of stress is overstreched by the people. they thought old citizens were more stressed. I think young people have more stressed than old people, because they face more problems in education, career and compitition.
First argument is that the some civilization believed that young citizen have more problems then old individuals, so the reason is that young public face some problems like financial, compition and education now a days, because in present era have more compitition and much hiegher merit in education. so people face many problems and then they fell in anxiety. furthermore, when young adults have no jobs so they face many financial problem. for instance, when someone has more struggle in study, but the name of student did not come in merit list, as a result then he has a anxiety.
Second argument is that the some citizen trust that these news spread a more wide, but older people has more stressed, the main reason is that older peopel face many physical problems like health problem, fever, cough, then they have more think about their health and ten they have more tension about their health. in contrast, older people face other problems such as, financial, because they thought that how they grew their children and more stressed about these problems. for example, when older individuals live lone they do more overthinking and then they suffer in anxiety and other problems.
in conclusion, young people face major problem due to education and higher compitition, while older people suffer in stress by financial condition and loneliness. in my opinion the young people have more stressed because they face more problems then older people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on modern versus historical stress and providing a clear personal opinion. However, some ideas are underdeveloped and lack sufficient support. For instance, the discussion regarding older generations focuses mainly on specific physical health issues like fever and cough rather than broader historical pressures mentioned in the prompt. The position is stated throughout, but the reasoning remains somewhat repetitive and relies on limited arguments, placing the response at a level where ideas are relevant yet lack full expansion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a discernible attempt to structure the response into introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is present, although transitions between points can feel mechanical or repetitive, utilizing basic cohesive devices such as 'furthermore' and 'in contrast'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronoun usage like 'they' and 'these news', which occasionally obscures the connection between ideas. Progression is visible, but the lack of smoother logical bridges keeps the organization from reaching a higher level.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task, with noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of awkward phrasing include 'overstreched', 'compitition', 'fell in anxiety', and 'live lone'. The writer attempts less common vocabulary, but inaccurate forms such as 'hiegher merit' and 'more overthinking' demonstrate a restricted control of lexical features and show that the range remains basic and repetitive at times.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer employs a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic complex forms that are frequently marred by errors. There are frequent mistakes in article usage, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions within grammatical patterns, such as 'some community is consider', 'a young people', and 'suffer in stress'. Attempts at complex structures often become faulty or convoluted. While the meaning can generally be discerned despite the frequent errors, the lack of consistent grammatical control is apparent throughout the text.
