You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many communities, stress is considered as a major challenge in the modern world by many individual's oppinions, while some people argue that anxiety is more sever then it was in the past. Other group of mankind is mentioned stress is overreported and our ancestors had burden but their idea of stress was different from now. I strongly agree that stress exist since the world made but mankind had different defination of stress in their era according to the work type.
First and foremost, anxiety means human mind try to juggling with a lot of stuff at a time. In this scientific and technological era, almost in every society stress is considered as a majore difficulty in a paerson's lives, because a man have a lot of things to cope with an a moment. For instance, in office workig houers tske completion deadline, his family affairs, financial burden, social circle, and physical and mental health, he is trying to cope with many factors at a time. Concequently, a person take stress even more then pressure and in past people had not much resposibilities as compared to now, owing to his simple way of life.
On the other hand, Technology advancement makes generation easier and less hardworking, therefore they want eas and work all done by autonomous way and if they face difficility in any way they reportes as a high pressure and exausted because of his way of living life arround the automated machines. For example, in back days people worked by himself so they fell stress less because their mind had thought nothing much about society pollution and status. Now socities are more crowded and noisy these factors were not before.
To sum all up, communities feel more stress, anxiety more then previous time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on modern and past stress and giving an opinion, but the ideas are presented in a limited and somewhat repetitive manner. The position is discernible in the introduction and conclusion, but the supporting arguments lack sufficient development and clarity. For instance, the discussion on office working hours and life pressures touches on relevant points, but it remains basic and is hindered by awkward phrasing. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to extend their arguments more fully, provide clearer and more robust examples, and ensure that all parts of the prompt are explored with greater depth and thoroughness.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation in the essay, with paragraphs used to separate introduction, body points, and a conclusion, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas throughout the text. Cohesive devices are sometimes inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on transitional phrases like 'First and foremost' and 'On the other hand' without smooth logical bridges between sentences. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the progression of the argument. To improve cohesion, the writer should ensure that sentences flow naturally into one another and that cohesive devices are used with greater precision to signal clear relationships between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the text, which occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'oppinions', 'sever' instead of severe, 'defination', 'majore', 'Concequently', and 'exausted'. The writer attempts to use some less common vocabulary, but these attempts often result in unnatural collocations or inaccurate forms, such as 'jugglng with a lot of stuff' and 'in back days'. To achieve a higher score, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire, pay closer attention to word formation and spelling, and use more precise vocabulary suited to academic writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response shows a very limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple or faulty complex sentences. There are frequent grammatical errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles that cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of these issues include 'stress is considered as a major challenge... by many individual's oppinions', 'a man have a lot of things', 'a person take stress even more then pressure', and 'people worked by himself so they fell stress less'. Punctuation is also weak in places. To reach the next level, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of complex structures with improved accuracy, ensuring that basic agreement and tense rules are applied consistently.
