Student answer (Band 4.5)
As we know that, our modern generation or 21th century is completely encourages by different kinds of platform such as AI technology. We are growing and following our generation either stressful or sometime stressless also.
One the one hand, Many individuals argue that our modern generation is extremely stressful according to the various kinds of activities and innovations. At the moment, we all are living in here progressive community rather than previously time periods. Although currently generation and misleading behave of human life accurately made them stressful or frustrated due to their own careless works. For instance, we are using social media right now and most of the time we have been cope with various types of issue during our daily survival period and I almost appreciate it. As a result, rely too much time on social media made us lazy, boring, and creativeness. Which are deeply stress for community and society of whole residents.
One the other hand, some people say that facing and dealing of stressful life is just dramatic and the rate of stress individuals have today is exaggerated. They presume that previous generations were under more pressure compared to our modern society. I partly agree that points cause previously people did not have sufficient time to consider and concern about their perspective I think they all were hectic on their daily works. The whole community carried out not fully stress compared to right society. They had not enough time to went outside and there were not literally sufficient tools which did provide personal or social stress.
For my perspective, I extremely agree that stress is now regarded as a crucial issue, and it is evident that people cope with more stress than they actually did in the past rather than the amount of stress people have today is careless.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the prompt minimally, attempting to discuss both views on stress and provide a personal opinion. However, the ideas remain very limited and under-developed throughout the essay. For instance, the discussion on social media and modern technology in the first body paragraph becomes confused and fails to clearly link back to the core theme of societal stress. While the writer manages to present a position in the final paragraph, the reasoning is obscured by unclear expression and a lack of supporting examples. To move beyond this level, the writer needs to fully develop each viewpoint with clear arguments and relevant evidence, ensuring that the central ideas directly address all parts of the task prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation with distinct paragraphs addressing different views, but the essay lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or overused, such as the mechanical and repetitive transitions 'One the one hand' and 'One the other hand'. Referencing is also unclear at times, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical development of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal flow within paragraphs is disjointed. To achieve a higher band, the writer must use a wider range of cohesive devices more naturally and ensure that sentences and paragraphs are logically sequenced to build a smooth, coherent argument from introduction to conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and restricted, with noticeable errors that often cause difficulty for the reader. The writer attempts some less common words and phrases, such as 'progressive community', 'misleading behave', and 'exaggerated', but these are frequently marred by word form, choice, and collocation errors, like 'creativeness' instead of 'creativity', or 'rely too much time' instead of 'spending too much time'. Spelling and word-choice inaccuracies occasionally impede smooth communication. To improve in this area, the writer should focus on expanding their working vocabulary, learning the correct word forms and collocations for common academic topics, and practicing precise word choice to convey ideas accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response displays a very limited range of structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent, frequent errors in grammar, articles, prepositions, and verb forms that cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include structural flaws like 'As we know that, our modern generation or 21th century is completely encourages by', awkward phrasing in 'did not have sufficient time to consider and concern about their perspective', and errors in tense and prepositions such as 'time to went outside'. To progress to a higher band, the writer needs to demonstrate better control over basic sentence patterns, eliminate frequent grammatical errors, and develop a reliable command of verb tenses, word agreement, and punctuation.
