Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, people suffer from more stress than they did in earlier, it is become a major problem for some societies which is regarded as a major problem. On both views, i give my opinion in below paragraphs.
Firstly, people suffer from more stress which they did in earlier because when a person reminds that tragedy by observe their surrounded people, it can trigger thier past experiences, however, it become stress and the chances will arise to go in depression. Society find a solution for that person who is suffering they only create nueisance related to their past events. In my opinion, society should not argue on this emotion because a person who go through that situation only they know what difficulties they had face in their past life.
As a contrast, some people argued that early generation people were under more pressure but they did not exaggerated whereas today's generation people exaggerate thier suffering from stress. As a result, previous generation did not know how to express our feelings and for lack of education they did not know about stress moreover, modern generation people are educated and they know the meaning of suffering from stress. In my opinion, education arise awareness among people related to their emotions and feels.
In conclusion, society should be understand that now in this modern era, stress become a major problem, numerous people suffering from this because of their personal and proffesional life while in previous generation suffering from stress did not exit because of lack of education.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You attempt to discuss both views and give a personal position, especially by arguing that greater education helps people recognise stress. However, the response only partially addresses the question: the first body paragraph focuses on how past tragedy can trigger stress, rather than explaining why people today may experience more stress, and the opposing view is reduced mainly to a lack of education in earlier generations. These ideas need clearer development and relevant examples. Your position is present but not consistently explained. The response is 244 words, below the 250-word minimum; the nine words copied from the prompt are not counted. Use the remaining space to explain both views directly and support your opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “As a contrast,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of how the discussion is organised. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first moves from past tragedy to depression and then to society’s response without explaining the links. Connectors such as “however,” “moreover,” and “as a result” are sometimes used inaccurately or do not show a clear relationship between ideas. References such as “that person” and “that situation” are also vague. Organise each paragraph around one view, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “pressure,” “awareness,” “emotions,” and “personal and professional life,” so the general subject is identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “reminds that tragedy by observe their surrounded people” and “create nuisance related to their past events.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “thier,” “nueisance,” “proffesional,” and “exaggerated” where “exaggerate” is needed. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “recognise the symptoms of stress” and “face financial or work-related pressures,” and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “whereas,” and “while.” This shows an effort to express relationships between ideas. However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make the intended meaning hard to follow. For example, “people suffer from more stress than they did in earlier” lacks a complete comparison, while “it is become a major problem” has an incorrect verb form. Agreement and sentence construction are also problematic in “Society find a solution” and “a person who go through that situation only they know.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation.
