Student answer (Band 6.0)
Psychological problems are getting common in the worldwide. Some people believe that stress is the most common and considerable issue among all psychological factors as compared to the past. By contrast, others believe that, stress were not common in the past despite having more pressure but this generation exaggerates the stress symptoms more than it actually feels. This essay will discuss both views and argue that why previous generation did not feel stress as a major problem.
In some countries and specific cultures, stress is considered as the main dilemma that their people is suffering from. Some believes that previous generation was less likely to suffer from it. Currently, the main reason of stress is the extra use of gadgets like mobile,T.V, from the childhood. As a result of this, todays children limited their outdoor games which was the basic stress management technique used by many therapists. For example, ADHD and virtual autism due to extra screen time has been reported since few years and these was not existed before. In light of this, stress is becoming a major problem in this generation.
By contrast, some people and I strongly believe that, this generation used to hyperbolize the amount of stress they actually feel , although people in the past experienced more pressure but people were not aware of this term 'stress'.The main reason is , previous generation was less stressed because they were physically active, individuals who plays get the enthusiasm, which controls the stress hormone called cortisol and the simultaneously the release of dopamine due to excitement plays crucial role to reduce the stress levels.Finland is the happiest country which has best schooling system and their education is substantially based on activities rather than only books and gadgets.
Overall, stress is considered as a major issue in some communities at present time, regardless of the actual intensity. There is absolute requirement to find out the main factors to overcome stress in this generation and councel them why previous generation was less likely to suffer from stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state your position, particularly in the contrast between current stress being a serious problem and people today exaggerating its extent. The discussion of screen use and reduced outdoor activity gives a relevant explanation for why stress may be increasing, while the point that earlier generations were less aware of the term responds to the opposing view. However, the argument that previous generations were less stressed is not fully reconciled with the claim that they faced more pressure, and the Finland example is not clearly connected to stress across generations. Develop these points with more precise reasoning and evidence, and make your conclusion answer the comparison directly rather than mainly recommending counselling and further investigation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two perspectives, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “By contrast,” “As a result,” and “Overall” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, some links between ideas are abrupt or unclear. For example, the move from screen use to ADHD and virtual autism, then to stress, needs a clearer explanation of how these examples support the argument. The Finland example also appears without a strong link to the preceding point about physical activity and stress. Some connectors are used mechanically, and the long second-view paragraph would be easier to follow if its claims and supporting example were more clearly separated.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “psychological factors,” “stress management,” “cortisol,” and “exaggerates.” These choices show an effort to use more specific language, and the main ideas remain understandable. However, some less common expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “considerable issue among all psychological factors,” “main dilemma,” and “hyperbolize the amount of stress.” There are also word-form and spelling problems, including “councel” and “todays,” which reduce precision. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling: for instance, describe stress as a “significant concern,” and say that people may “overstate” or “exaggerate” their stress. More precise wording would make the argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including clauses introduced by “although,” “which,” and “as a result.” This gives the response some variety, and most sentences can be understood. Some grammatical errors remain, however. Examples include “stress were not common” instead of “stress was not common,” “their people is suffering” instead of “their people are suffering,” and “individuals who plays” instead of “individuals who play.” Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “argue that why previous generation did not feel stress.” Punctuation is sometimes missing or misplaced, especially around commas and sentence boundaries. Review subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause structure, then proofread long sentences to ensure each has a clear grammatical shape.
