Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people argued that, in some societies, stress is now considered as a major problem, and it is thought that people suffer from more stress than did in the past. However, other feel that the amount of stress people have today is exaggerated. They mention that previous generations were under more pressure, but the concept of suffering from stress did not exist. Stress can be come through different things like financial, insecurities, self doubt, carrer and many more. In this essay i will discuss about the given statement and provide my clear view point.
On the one hand, stress can be caused through different form like; it can be caused from your work, college, maybe financial problem and what not. In today's generation the compitition of becoming better self or successful at the young age become the trend. So, the youngsters suffer from the stress to achieve all the desire goals at the very young age. The internet influenced or show the unreal sucess of the people. So, they are on the race of people to become better. Stress became major problem among people everyone wants to be successful in everything.
On the other hands, people from the past had faced many problem then ours, they hurt and suffer alone because there was no such internet where they can post. Internet has changed the point of view of the people. The more exposure they get the more they get influenced. And yes the idea of suffering from stress did not exist on previous generation because they do not have time to express their feeling. They get hurt, healed and fight alone.
In conclusion, i think stress become major problem in todays generation because they get compared in studies, sports and in everything which is the major problem for causing stress for both parents and children.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the second paragraph links present-day stress to competition, achievement pressure and online comparisons, while the third argues that earlier generations faced hardship but had fewer ways to express it. Your conclusion also gives a clear preference for the view that stress is a major problem today. However, the discussion remains partial and the ideas are under-developed. For example, the claim that previous generations “faced many problem then ours” is not supported with a specific example or explanation, and the essay does not clearly distinguish whether people today experience more stress or simply recognise and discuss it more. Develop each side with a concrete example and explain how it supports your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hands” signal the contrast, and the main topic remains identifiable throughout. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several points are placed next to one another without showing their relationship, such as the comments about internet exposure, influence and competition. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, and the conclusion mostly repeats the claim rather than drawing the discussion together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example explicitly to the paragraph’s main point, and vary transitions so the argument develops step by step.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial,” “competition,” “pressure,” “influenced” and “successful,” so the reader can follow the general argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. Examples include “Stress can be come through different things,” “the compitition of becoming better self,” and “the unreal sucess.” Spelling errors such as “carrer,” “compitition” and “sucess” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for causes and effects of stress, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations linked with “because” and “so,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement and articles. For instance, “other feel” should be “others feel,” “people suffer from more stress than did in the past” needs a clearer comparison, and “Stress became major problem” has an inaccurate verb form and missing article. Some sentences also run together, particularly “The internet influenced or show the unreal sucess of the people.” Practise building accurate complex sentences, then check subject–verb agreement, tense consistency and sentence boundaries.
