living simple life

It is often debated whether, people in recent time suffering from more stress than previous time which regardes as a major issue. While others believe that in past generations they had more pressure but suffering from stress is not exist. This essay will discuss both the views and give my opinion.

To begin with, people support the idea that they are suffering more stress then they did in the past due to several reasons. One of the prominent reasons is busy schedules. Elaborating it, nowadays most of people are employed and they doing their work most of the time and also there are so many pupils busy on doing their assignment, projects e.t.c. Thereforere, because of the busy schedules people are spending less time with their family, friends and they are not following their hobies and intrests which create a lot of stress in todays generation. Likewise, willing to more amitious are another factor of it. To explain it, individuals have attitude towards living better life then other which leads into more stress. For instance, many of individuals are run in the way of competition such as earning more, purchasing more and spending more which destroy the humans peace.

On the other hand, in prior time people suffer more pressure but not suffering the issue like stress are favored by some individuals because of numerous aspects. Living healthy lifestyle is major approach of it. To clarify it, in this modern time scientist create many machines which is helpful in daily life but causes more pollution which generate health issues. However in past generation there are less pollution which cause less health problems and that maintain more peace.

Regarding my perspective, in recent time many individuals are suffering more stress because they have busy schedules. In addition, pollution create more health issues and that reduce the peace and people are less enjoying their daily life and spending time with family which generate more stress. However it can be reduced by some remedies.

In conclusion, people have more busy schedules and ambitious which creates more stress but in past time there is less busy schedules, less educational pressure and they live their simple life which demonstrate they are in under pressure, but not into stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state your position: you argue that modern schedules and ambition create more stress, while the past involved simpler living and less educational pressure. The examples about work, assignments, competition and pollution are relevant to the topic. However, the discussion of the opposing view is less convincing: the paragraph mainly claims that past generations had healthier lives because there was less pollution, rather than explaining the pressures they faced or why stress may not have been recognised as a concept. Your own position is present, but it largely repeats the first view and would benefit from a clearer comparison of the two perspectives. Develop each main point with a more specific explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and several ideas are joined without clear relationships. For example, the paragraph about the past moves from machines and pollution to health and peace without fully explaining the connection to stress. The conclusion also introduces “less educational pressure” without developing that point earlier. Use clearer topic sentences and make each sentence build on the previous one; vary linking devices and use pronouns or repeated key terms carefully to clarify references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “busy schedules,” “competition,” “pressure,” “pollution” and “ambitious.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “willing to more ambitious,” “destroy the humans peace” and “living healthy lifestyle.” Spelling errors such as “hobies,” “intrests” and “Thereforere” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check word forms and spelling. More precise expressions for causes, consequences and comparisons would help you explain the two views without relying repeatedly on “stress,” “more” and “less.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which” and “while.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure, but control is inconsistent, and errors can make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “people in recent time suffering from more stress” lacks a finite verb, while “most of people are employed and they doing their work” has problems with articles and verb forms. There are also agreement and tense issues in “scientist create many machines which is helpful.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check articles, plural forms, verb agreement and punctuation, especially when joining several ideas in one sentence.
