Student answer (Band 4.0)

We discuss about stress that a major problem in our society. People suffer from stress than they did in the past. Mostly young generation suffering this disease. The idea of suffering from stress did not exist in some societies.

Overall, stress is now regarded as a major problem. My own opinion is that problems face mostly young generation because, they used mobile phone and watching TV daily. They have no discipline in daily life. Young generation wake up 10 am and sleeping rotten is 12 or 2 am that is vary bad rotten. That rotten suffering into stress.

According to my experience mostly jobless people suffer in to stress. Young people complete there study already suffer in stress. But, Companies cant gave jobs to a new students. For example, Some companies demand work experience but , students cant have any work experience and result is jobless and suffering in stress.

Some people have a lot of tensions and suffer in stress. Mostly young generation worried about there future, and suffer in the stress. Only one solution is worked to control stress, that is morning walk. We set a timetable in our life , Wake up early in the morning and went to a morning walk daily. Ate breakfast daily at rotten. Only this process can make forget to suffering from more stress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify stress as a current concern and give a personal view, with examples involving young people, unemployment and job requirements. However, the task asks you to discuss both views: that people face more stress today and that earlier generations faced greater pressure, with stress simply not being named. The second view is only briefly mentioned in the opening and is not explained or supported, so the response addresses the task only partially. Your opinion is also not consistently developed, and the morning-walk advice does not directly compare the two views. The response is 205 words, below the 250-word minimum; 17 words copied from the prompt were excluded. Develop each side with a clear reason and example, then state your conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure: it introduces the topic, gives an opinion, discusses joblessness, and ends with a proposed solution. Some progression is visible through phrases such as “According to my experience” and “For example.” However, the ideas do not form a clear discussion of both sides, and several points repeat the claim that young people suffer stress without showing how each paragraph advances the argument. Connections between sentences are sometimes unclear, as in “That rotten suffering into stress,” and the final paragraph shifts to advice without linking it to the task’s comparison. Use one paragraph for each view, followed by a conclusion, and connect examples explicitly to the point they support.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “stress,” “pressure,” “jobless,” “work experience,” and “timetable,” so the reader can generally identify the subject of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “suffer in stress.” Some word choices or combinations are unclear, such as “sleeping rotten,” “vary bad rotten,” and “make forget to suffering,” which make parts of the message difficult to understand. Spelling and word-form choices such as “there” for “their” also reduce accuracy. Build a small set of precise expressions for discussing causes and effects, and check that each phrase sounds natural in context—for example, “experience stress” and “face pressure.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You communicate mainly through short, simple statements, and some basic sentence patterns are understandable, such as “Some companies demand work experience.” There are also attempts to connect ideas with “because” and “but.” However, control is inconsistent: “People suffer from stress than they did in the past” lacks a comparative form, while “Young generation wake up” has agreement and article problems. Verb forms are often inaccurate, as in “Companies cant gave jobs” and “we…went to a morning walk,” and punctuation around commas and capital letters is unreliable. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentences before adding more complex structures.
