Student answer (Band 5.0)

In some communities, anxiety is now regarded as a major problem and it is thought that person's face more stressed than they did in the past. Furthermore, others feel that stress amount is surge than past but also previous generation are under more stress but they never suffering from stress and anxiety.

Initially, people face more anxiety and stress due to the development in social media and internet and they don't think before make any decision. social media addiction is the reason why people nowadays faced stress. whenever a person addicted with the social media and mobile they are mind always a run in the social media and internet what ever they see in phone. By this there a mind always suffer from stress. One such instance is, if a person always a play game there a mind always a run in a game even if he slept hermind take much load and by this person face is stress and anxiety. Subsequently the second reason is a person's not think before make any decision. At this a point in times a people always a firstly do and after that think and regret on it if decision that he or she made is not right. Whenever people face in stress they soend time with family and forget there stress in family time. They always think positive if they are in stress but never faced depression.

By taking everything into consideration both views are right on there own place people nowdays suffer from stress due to they never spend time with family and always addicted with Phone with increase anxiety. whereas people in past soend time with family by which they ignore there anxiety and never suffer from depression.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a concluding position: you explain that modern technology can increase stress, while family contact may have helped people in the past cope. These points are relevant, and the examples about gaming and cryptocurrency show an attempt to support your ideas. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The second view is presented mainly as people spending time with family and making better decisions, without explaining why earlier generations faced greater pressures, as the prompt suggests. Your conclusion also says both views are right but does not clearly distinguish whether people experience more stress today or simply describe it differently. Develop each side more fully and state your own view directly. The length requirement is met; 12 words copied from the prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and linking expressions are repetitive or awkward. For example, “Initially,” “Subsequently,” and “At this a point” do not always show the relationship between ideas clearly, while several sentences repeat that social media causes stress without adding a distinct point. References such as “they” and “there” can also make it unclear who or what is meant. Organise each body paragraph around one clear claim, explain it, and then give a focused example; use simpler, more accurate links between these steps.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “social media addiction,” “cryptocurrency,” “regret,” and “depression,” so the reader can identify the subject of your examples. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make parts of the argument difficult to understand. For instance, “stress amount is surge” and “a person's not think” do not express the intended meaning naturally, while “bastard demonstrate” appears to be an unsuitable word choice. Repetition of “stress and anxiety,” “always,” and “people” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate phrases for describing pressure, coping, and generational differences, and check that each word fits its context before using it.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “if,” but control of sentence structure is weak and errors occur frequently. Verb forms and agreement are often inaccurate: “previous generation are under more stress,” “they never suffering,” and “a person always a play” make the meaning harder to follow. Articles, pronouns, and sentence boundaries are also problematic, as in “they are mind always a run” and the lower-case sentence beginning “social media addiction.” Most sentences are not reliably error-free, and the limited control of clauses restricts clarity. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using one subordinate clause at a time; check subject–verb agreement, tense, and punctuation.
