Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to clearly identify or report the main features. The description of the data is confusing and often inaccurate, such as stating '190% companies' or misinterpreting the categories. The comparison between the companies is disjointed, and the information provided is difficult to follow because the data points are not clearly linked to the specific companies (1st, 2nd, etc.). The overview is vague and does not provide a clear summary of the trends. To improve, you must ensure that the data you report matches the visual information provided and that you clearly label which company you are discussing.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the internal logic is weak. The progression of ideas is difficult to follow because the sentences are often disconnected or grammatically incoherent. While some cohesive devices like 'in addition' and 'furthermore' are used, they do not effectively link the ideas. The referencing is often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to understand which data point belongs to which company. The structure lacks a logical flow, which hinders the overall readability of the report.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is limited and often used incorrectly. Phrases like 'punctual from 1st for 34%' and 'least work for national newspaper' are confusing and do not accurately describe the data. There is a lack of precision in reporting figures and trends. You need to use more appropriate terminology for describing statistics, such as 'proportion,' 'percentage,' 'increased by,' or 'remained constant.' The current lexical range is insufficient to convey the information clearly, and the errors in word choice frequently impede communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often obscure the meaning. There are issues with sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and the misuse of prepositions. For example, 'staff in high income bracket punctual from 1st for 34%' is not a complete or grammatically correct sentence. The use of punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of commas and periods. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are largely inaccurate. You should focus on writing simple, clear sentences before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
