The table below gives information about the five small companies in Britain that came top in a survey of staff conducted by a national newspaper to find out which companies are the best to work for.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The table depicts information regarding the five best smal companies in Britain that came top in a survey of staff conducted by a national newspaper to get the data of which organizations are best for employment.

To begin with, the first-ranked company had 56 employees, while men and women acoounting for 30% as well as 70%, respectively. 77% workers were under the age of 35, whereas there were no staff over the age of 55. The second-ranked company employed 79, with a relatively balanced male-to-female ratio of 47:53. Its turnover made up 18%, 48% of its staff were in high-income group.

The third-ranked company had 72 emplyees. 82% workers accounting for under 35 age, with 8% turnover. In addition, the highest proportion of staff in high-income bracket (74%). The fourth company had 76 staff, with women representing 87%, while only 5% employees got high-income salary. The fifth organization represents the largest group of employees, which was stood at 190. Also, staff turnover constituted 33%.

Overall, it is evident that the fifth-ranked company had the largest group of staff, with the highest percentage of employees turnover. In contrast, 74% staff were in high-income bracket in the third-ranked organization.
