The table illustrates the results of a survey conducted to find out which company is best to work for. The survey was conducted by a national newspaper in Britain covering five small enterprises.
Overall, the survey was carried out to assess five different sectors in each company. The company that holds first position has moderate number of employees and least turnover. Conversely, the company that ranked the least has highest number of staff with equally greater turover ratio.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have successfully identified the main features of the table, such as the relationship between staff turnover and company ranking. You provided clear comparisons between the top-ranked company and the fifth-ranked company. However, the report could be improved by providing a more comprehensive overview of the data for the middle-ranked companies. While you mention the average number of employees, you could have highlighted more specific data points for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th companies to fully satisfy the requirement to report on all parts of the task. Overall, the information is accurate and the key trends are well-summarised.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The response is logically organised into clear paragraphs. You use cohesive devices such as 'Conversely' and 'Overall' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'The other companies... found out to hire more employees', where the phrasing is awkward. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, overview, and specific details. To reach a higher band, ensure that cohesive devices are used more naturally and that the flow between sentences is smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'turnover', 'enterprises', and 'staff mobility'. There are some inaccuracies, such as 'replacement' instead of 'turnover' and '18&' (a typo). Additionally, some phrasing is slightly unnatural, such as 'moderate number of employees' and 'found out to hire'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, you should aim to use more precise collocations and ensure that your word choice is consistently accurate to improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'The company that obtain first position' (should be 'obtains'), 'fifth ranked company had' (should be 'the fifth-ranked company'), and '18&' (typo). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent throughout the text. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic errors like verb tense and article usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
