THE FIVE BEST SMALL COMPANIES TO WORK FOR
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Given spread sheet illusturate the work for five best small companies according to the rankings which are being calculated in some sort of surveys
It is considerely noticed that the fifth rank company has the huge amount of staff members working in it , and it is directly proportional to the great opportunities over there more over first rank company has the lowest amonut of staff that might be possible that their only focus is quality employs
However the wages of the employs are intresting to notice , precentage of staff fall in high income bracket is quite diffrenciative all of the componies but the 3rd rank company has a great precentage as 74% of the employs getting high income whereas the 5th rank company is opposite to the 3rd rank as only 2% of them are getting high wages
Intrestingly ,the male female ratio is quite shocking that only 3rd and 5th rank companies have high rotio of boys other then that women dominate in rest of other three companies

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response identifies several relevant comparisons, including the fifth-ranked company having the most staff and the third-ranked company having the highest proportion in the high-income bracket. It also correctly notes that women form the majority in the first, second and fourth companies. However, the task is only partly covered: there is no clear overview of the main patterns, and important figures such as staff turnover and age distribution are omitted. The claim that the fifth company’s larger workforce means it offers “great opportunities” is not supported by the table. Some comparisons are also imprecise; for example, the fifth company has a slight male majority, while the third has a much larger one. Select the key patterns and report them without inferring causes.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has some organisation: it moves from company size to income and then to gender balance, and paragraph breaks help separate these topics. However, there is no clear overall progression from an introduction to an overview and then supporting details. The opening sentence is difficult to follow, and links such as “However” and “more over” do not always show the relationship between the ideas that follow. The final paragraph introduces another comparison without connecting it to a summary of the table. A clearer structure would be an introductory paraphrase, a concise overview of the strongest patterns, and two detail paragraphs grouped by related measures. Use linking expressions only where their meaning fits.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some task-related vocabulary, including “staff members,” “high income bracket,” “percentage” and “male female ratio,” so the reader can identify the main topics. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “illusturate,” “considerely,” “diffrenciative” and “employs” where “employees” is intended. Phrases such as “great opportunities” and “quality employs” are vague or unnatural in this context, and “boys” is too informal for adult workers. Aim for precise terms used in data reporting, such as “workforce,” “proportion,” “female employees” and “staff turnover,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentence forms, for example the sentence beginning “It is considerely noticed that…,” but these attempts are often faulty, and most structures remain simple or loosely joined. Errors in sentence construction and punctuation sometimes make relationships unclear. In “the fifth rank company has the huge amount of staff members working in it,” the article and noun phrase are not controlled; “the percentage of staff fall in high income bracket” also lacks a correctly formed clause and necessary articles. The final sentence has an unclear construction around “only 3rd and 5th rank companies have high rotio.” Practise accurate comparative sentences and use complete clauses, for example: “The fifth-ranked company employs the most people, whereas the first employs the fewest.”
