Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify several relevant extremes, including the fifth company’s largest workforce (190), the third company’s male-heavy ratio (74:26), and the fifth company’s high under-35 share (93%). However, the overview is unclear and partly inaccurate: the fifth company is not highest across the table, since the third has the largest high-income share (74%), while the fifth has the lowest (2%). The claim that the fifth is “still lowest in 2 sections” is not explained, and the turnover comparison gives only the highest and lowest without linking them to companies. Some important contrasts, such as the first company’s lowest turnover and the fourth company’s older staff share, could be reported more clearly. A more accurate overview and fuller comparisons would strengthen the summary.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, an overview, and two detail sections, and phrases such as “Looking at the details” and “Furthermore” signal movement between points. However, progression within the body is uneven: the discussion jumps from workforce size to gender, age, turnover, and income without consistently identifying the companies or grouping related comparisons. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly “Overall, It was noticed…” and “Least was reported by 4th company 26%/8%.” The final sentence also ends abruptly, with no concluding synthesis. Organise the data into clearer comparison groups and use precise references to connect each figure to its company.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some task-relevant terms, including “staff numbers,” “male:female ratio,” “staff turnover,” and “high income bracket,” so the reader can generally recognise the categories being described. However, vocabulary is limited and several choices or forms are inaccurate, which makes the report less precise: “highest ration” appears to mean “highest ratio,” “poll of employes executed” is an unnatural way to describe the survey, and “catogary” is misspelled. “The most significant” is also vague for a numerical comparison. Use standard reporting language such as “ranked first,” “recorded,” “accounted for,” and “the highest proportion,” while checking spelling and choosing terms that accurately describe percentages, ratios, and counts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main figures are often understandable. However, grammatical control is inconsistent, with frequent errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “the five small organization” needs a plural noun, while “the 5th company has recorded the higest ration in across the five survery” has an incomplete and faulty structure. Capitalisation after commas is also inconsistent, as in “numbers, And,” and several fragments lack a clear subject or verb, including “Least was reported by 4th company 26%/8%.” These errors sometimes make relationships between figures difficult to follow. Build complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles, plurals, and punctuation.
