Spents on housings also got rise in 2018 as comapred to 1968, as there a alot of other luxuries in an average house .
Meanwhile the spents on fuel and power got decreased because there are much more fuel effecient devices for eveything as compared to the market of 1968
There is also high graph of spents on clothes and footware in 2018, as there are a lot of luxury brands in the market which are on the wishlist of every person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to cover the main features of the chart, noting changes in categories such as food, housing, transport, and leisure between 1968 and 2018. However, there are significant factual inaccuracies in the interpretation of the data. For instance, the student states that spending on 'clothes and footware' (clothing and footwear) was high or increased, whereas the chart shows it actually decreased from 10% to 5%. Additionally, the claim that personal goods and transport increased due to price rises or faster transport introduces outside speculation rather than reporting visual data. There is no clear, cohesive overview provided. Consequently, the task is only partially addressed, earning a band score of 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay lacks proper paragraphing, as almost every sentence is written as a separate single-line paragraph rather than being grouped into coherent body paragraphs. Cohesive devices are weak, repetitive (e.g., frequent use of 'as compared to' and 'whereas'), and sometimes misused, such as 'however,In 1968...'. There is no overall logical progression, and referencing between ideas is mechanical and disjointed. This significantly hinders the flow of the text, matching the descriptors for a band 4.5, which rounds to 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with numerous spelling and word-form errors (e.g., 'shoes' instead of 'shows', 'spents' used as a noun instead of 'spending', 'activites', 'effecient', 'tranports'). Less common vocabulary items are attempted but are generally inaccurate or poorly collated (e.g., 'high graph of spents', 'ordinary life with no much more extra spents'). The range is limited and frequently causes strain for the reader, placing it firmly in the band 5 category.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on basic, repetitive sentence patterns joined by comma splices or simple conjunctions. There are persistent, frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('there a alot of other luxuries'), missing articles, and incorrect prepositions (e.g., 'spents on housings also got rise'). Punctuation and capitalization are also poorly controlled. These frequent errors disrupt readability and restrict the score to a band 4.5, rounding to 5.0.
