Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention the benefits of general knowledge and preparation for travel, the disadvantages section focuses heavily on 'fake news' and media regulation, which is only tangentially related to the core topic of international awareness. The position is clear, but the arguments lack depth and specific examples are somewhat anecdotal. To improve, ensure that your points directly address the impact of knowing how others live, rather than shifting the focus to media ethics or government policy.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often disrupted by awkward transitions and repetitive phrasing. For instance, the use of 'to begin with' and 'to commence with' is confusing, as both phrases serve the same purpose. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often mechanical or misused, such as the abrupt transition 'than its beneficial' in the first body paragraph. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'good thing', 'helpful thing', and 'bad impacts'. There are also several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'fake and fraud newsies' and 'make wrong information in my mind set'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the presence of spelling errors (e.g., 'ab road' for 'abroad', 'imapcts') restrict the score. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more academic vocabulary and precise collocations to express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or fragmented, such as 'for example, I am daily watching in news... and after some time I make plan to study ab road than its beneficial'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and periods that make the text difficult to parse. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve the clarity and accuracy of your writing.
