Student answer (Band 6.0)
International travel promotes the exchanging numerous information regarding the culture, lifestyle and food across the world by which people knows about other country's life. In recent years, sharing data by media has become increasingly common. Although this trend has some disadvantages, I believe that its advantages outweigh its disadvantages.
The major benefit is better understanding about the foreign culture. In brief, people learn different languages learn and communicate with outsiders which enhance their knowledge and they have abilities to adopt the good ideas in their lifestyle like how to tackle problems and stay positive. Moreover, improves in economic growth of the countries. Individuals attracts more towards travelling which rise the sale of tickets, products, employment such as tour guide and development in every field of country.
On the other hand, there are also potential disadvantages to loosing traditions. For example, in India people love to adopt western clothes and food which disconnects them from there roots. Some of them not able to speak their native language , they speak English which makes difficult to understand their history. In addition, this causes clash along the families because parents wants to teach foreign cultural to their children for their bright future which makes them proud but their grandparents oppose to this , they wants to make the ward links with traditional moral and ethics.
In conclusion, there are several negative points of spread culture with others, the positive outcomes cannot be denied. It improves the overall development and makes the individual extrovert.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding cultural exchange and economic growth are relevant, as are the counter-arguments regarding the loss of tradition. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about economic growth is mentioned but not fully explained or supported with specific evidence. The essay covers all parts of the task, but the depth of analysis is limited, which prevents it from reaching a higher band. The conclusion is brief but effectively summarizes the writer's stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In brief' to start a paragraph or 'improves in economic growth' which lacks a proper subject. While the paragraphing is sufficient, the transitions between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother to improve the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'extrovert' and 'cultural', but there are also instances of incorrect word choice or collocation, such as 'exchanging numerous information' (should be 'exchanging information') and 'loosing traditions' (should be 'losing traditions'). The range is sufficient for the task, but the lack of precision and occasional errors in word formation limit the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Examples include 'people knows about' (subject-verb agreement), 'improves in economic growth' (missing subject), and 'parents wants to teach' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors prevents the essay from achieving a higher band.
