Student answer (Band 6.0)
International travel promotes exchanging numerous information regarding the culture, lifestyle and food across the world by which people know about other country's lives. In recent years, sharing data by the media has become increasingly common. Although this trend has some disadvantages, I believe that its advantages outweigh its disadvantages.
The major benefit is better understanding about the foreign culture. In brief, people learn different languages, learn and communicate with outsiders which enhance their knowledge and they have abilities to adopt the good ideas in their lifestyle like how to tackle problems and stay positive. Moreover, improves the economic growth of the countries. Individuals are attracted more towards travelling which raises the sale of tickets, products, employment such as tour guide and development in every field of the country.
On the other hand, there are also potential disadvantages to losing traditions. For example, in India people love to adopt western clothes and food which disconnects them from there roots. Some of them are not able to speak their native language , they speak English which makes it difficult to understand their history. In addition, this causes clash among the families because parents want to teach foreign culture to their children for their bright future which makes them proud but their grandparents oppose this , they want to make the ward links with traditional morals and ethics.
In conclusion, there are several negative points of spreading culture with others, the positive outcomes cannot be denied. It improves the overall development and makes the individual extrovert.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding cultural exchange and economic growth are relevant, though the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about economic growth is mentioned but lacks specific evidence or a clear link to the prompt's focus on 'knowing how others live'. The counter-argument regarding the loss of traditions is present, but the explanation of family clashes is slightly disjointed. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your ideas with more detailed examples or logical explanations, ensuring that each paragraph directly supports your central thesis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition 'In brief' which does not fit the context of the sentence. Additionally, some sentences are loosely connected, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun usage in the final paragraph. Improving the variety and natural flow of your linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'economic growth', 'traditional morals', and 'extrovert'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'exchanging numerous information' (should be 'exchanging information') and 'make the ward links' (which is unclear). The range is sufficient to communicate, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on collocations and more sophisticated academic vocabulary would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and prepositions (e.g., 'improves the economic growth' lacks a subject; 'disconnects them from there roots' should be 'their'). Some sentences are also fragmented or run-on. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb.
