IELTS Writing Task 2 question
The ease of international travel and the spread of various kinds of mass media all over the world have made it more possible than ever for people to know how other people live in other countries.
Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence. Write at least 250 words.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In present days, numerous individuals go for a trip due to social media. They provide news as global countries are convenient for travellers. From internet they see that in other nations how others live their life. I partly agree with this view.
On the one hand, Although it has many positive impact but it also has disadvantages. Some people believe that internet is harmfull for us because they think that it has several causes for instance, mostly old persons are not aware to deal with that like sometime they spread rumours additionally old people reckon that it is true like japan is not safe for travellers. So they do not prefer to go there however that is fake they do not no what is true or false.
On the other hand, it has many advantages like it is convenient for locations such as if we know about locations then we do not worry about exploring. In modern world numeral apps provide exact view point for example, instagram some influencers give information about best food restaurant, safe home stay for night so that is helpfull for tourist moreover, It also beneficial for development like worldwide items just like electrical cars so we also see that things or an invent that in our nation that is good for our future.
In contrast, eventhough it has several drawbacks such as fake news nevertheless it has more advantages so from my perspective mass media information has a pesitive impact on society.
