Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days its quite easy to move all around the world more conviniently and multiple option for communication make it more accessible to have details about individuals that how they are residing in different parts of world.
In my opinion, there are more benefits for these advancements than drawbacks. Now people can move to another country to have improved quality of life such as in search of better job opportuinies, to get best medical facilites or to acheive high studies if they are unable to acheive at their homeland. Being social is really healthy as you can get information of indivuals living lifestyle that is really different from them for example person residing in Asia can easily access how people living in other parts of the world, what are their lifestyle e.g. places to visit, food , culture and traditions and how it would be more convinient that whenever they got a chance to visit another country they will already familiar to that place by gathering information online.
There are some drawbacks as well like infiriority complex, isolation for example people are creating profiles on social websites in order to show the fake life style to the public in way that they possess luxury home, car, desired job by which someone may feel that they are unable to compete the race of life and as a result they faces depression and even avoid to meet individuals in person.
Overall its individual preference that how they can use these previleges and I will surely love to explore different parts of world physically and visually.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and you address both sides of the question. The benefits paragraph includes relevant points about employment, medical care, education and learning about other cultures; the example of someone in Asia accessing information about places, food and traditions helps illustrate this. You also identify a plausible disadvantage in the pressure created by idealised social-media profiles. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the travel, healthcare and education points are listed rather than explained, and the conclusion shifts to your personal wish to explore rather than summarising why the advantages are greater. Develop fewer points with clearer explanation and evidence, and link each one directly to your judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks and a concluding statement. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several ideas are crowded into long sentences. For example, the benefits paragraph moves from migration for work and study to social learning and travel preparation without clearly separating or connecting these points. Linking phrases such as “for example” and “as a result” are used, but some connections remain unclear, particularly between social media profiles and isolation. Use one main idea per paragraph, organise supporting explanation in a clear sequence, and make references such as “them” and “that place” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “quality of life,” “job opportunities,” “medical facilities,” “culture and traditions,” and “depression.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both international mobility and media-related effects. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts of the response less clear, such as “multiple option for communication,” “individuals living lifestyle,” and “fake life style.” Some expressions are also imprecise: “Being social” does not clearly convey the idea of learning about other societies, while “high studies” is not a natural phrase in this context. Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a sentence beginning “such as in search of better job opportunities” and a cause-and-effect construction about social-media profiles. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles and punctuation occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “a person residing in Asia can easily access how people living…” lacks a complete, well-formed structure, while “they faces depression” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The opening sentence also combines several ideas without a clear grammatical relationship. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then join them with subordinate clauses; check articles, plural forms, agreement and sentence boundaries during revision.
