Student answer (Band 5.0)

The reliability of international journey and circulate of different category of mass media whole the world have made it achievable than ever for people to recognize how other individuals live in other countries.

Firstly, international travel and the spread of various types of mass media play very vital role in life of international travelers.Usually, vlogers and other celebrities visits to other countries and share their daily life routine and also visits famous places of that countries and share videos and pictures of that places . For example, last year one verly popular celebrity of Pakistan name Bilal Marth viisted France and also share their photo in the area of Eiffle tower.

Another benefit is that with the help of travelling at international level individuals can boost their knowledge and information about diiferent countries and also post documentry on the historical sites of that countries. For example, the most famous philosopher visits to other countries and research various things there and also share consequent of that research with the help oof social media.

On the other hand, One disadvantage of international travelling and different mass of media is that the privacy of inhabitnts of thhat countries revealed and which can be harmful for that countries as well as individuals. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response identifies benefits—sharing travel experiences and learning about other countries—and one disadvantage concerning privacy and security. However, it does not clearly answer the central question of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages: there is no explicit overall position, and the conclusion is missing. The examples, such as the Pakistani celebrity visiting France and the discussion of spies, are relevant in a broad sense but are not explained enough to show how they support a comparison of the two sides. The second benefit also shifts toward research and historical sites without clarifying how this helps people understand how others live. State your position directly and develop each main point with a clear explanation and a specific, relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: it introduces the topic, presents two benefits, and then signals a disadvantage with “On the other hand.” This helps readers follow the broad direction of the discussion. However, progression is limited because the essay ends after the disadvantage rather than drawing the ideas together, and the relationship between some points is unclear. For example, the paragraph about travel and research moves from visiting countries to posting documentaries without a clear explanation of the connection. Linking phrases such as “Firstly” and “Another benefit” are useful but somewhat mechanical, while references such as “that countries” make it difficult to identify what is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one main claim and connect its explanation and example more explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “mass media,” “historical sites,” “privacy,” and “infrastructure,” and attempts to discuss both cultural knowledge and security. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make meaning less clear. Phrases such as “reliability of international journey,” “different category of mass media,” and “share consequent of that research” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors, including “vlogers,” “diiferent,” and “distructions,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, familiar collocations rather than forcing complex wording; for instance, describe the “ease of international travel” and say that people “share their findings.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would make the argument easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

There are attempts to form longer sentences using “and,” “which,” and “when,” but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors in agreement, articles, or sentence structure. For example, “vlogers and other celebrities visits” has a plural subject with a singular verb, while “one very popular celebrity … name Bilal” lacks a grammatical structure for identifying the person. The final sentence, “It leads to distructions,” is also unclear in its connection to the preceding idea. Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, particularly around sentence boundaries. Build accuracy first with clear subject–verb–object sentences, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check verb agreement, articles, and whether each sentence expresses a complete, logically connected idea.
