Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are different perspectives of people regarding the mass media that it make more easy to know how prople survive in any other country. And some believe that it have more advantage than disadvantages but other may think reverse of it. In my opinion the advantages are more superior but there are some exceptions. So, lets discuss it.
The first advantage is that if there is any student planning to pursue his?her career abroad or to study there they can easily watch the reels or videos of students from their country who went to that country and are sharing their daily life and challanges faced by them in their daily like so this could help them to analyze and decide whether that country is suitable to their requirements or not and they can also find any alternate to that. Then it could also help them to prevent any mistake that they can't afford there. Then this could help people those were travelling on visit purpose and they can find all the places or resturants there that they can visit during their stay.
However, there are some disadvantage also of this approach as there may be any misleading or false information which may also results drastic and the students or visitors may get in any trouble after having that misleading information and it may also destroy their moment of joy at that country and if he's a student this may results in their deportation due to any mistake.
To conclude that, the advantages didn't outweigh the disadvantages because the disadvantage may cause any serious trouble which a=cannot be solved easily and have a bad impact on the image of that person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the question and give a position, but the conclusion says the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, which conflicts with your introduction that says the advantages are superior. This makes your overall view unclear. Your examples about students researching life abroad and visitors finding places to eat are relevant, and you also identify the risk of misleading information. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained with specific examples or evidence. The possible consequences for students, such as deportation, are mentioned but not developed, and the essay does not clearly weigh the benefits against the risks. Make your position consistent and explain why one side is more significant.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic essay structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation. However, progression is limited: the benefits paragraph moves from students to tourists through repeated uses of “Then,” while the drawbacks paragraph largely repeats the idea of misleading information and its consequences. Some linking is awkward or unclear, such as “However, there are some disadvantage also of this approach.” The conclusion also does not follow the position stated in the introduction, weakening the overall flow. Use clearer topic sentences, group related points, and use a wider range of accurate links to show how each example supports your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “misleading or false information,” “daily life,” and “deportation.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “more superior,” “survive in any other country,” and “travelling on visit purpose.” Spelling errors such as “prople,” “challanges,” and “resturants” are also noticeable. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe people as “living abroad,” refer to “travelling for tourism,” and say that information helps someone “assess whether a country meets their needs.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt longer sentences to explain cause and effect, but these are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, and verb forms. For example, “the mass media that it make more easy” has an incorrect clause structure and subject–verb agreement, while “it have more advantage” also has agreement and number errors. The long sentence beginning “The first advantage is that if there is any student…” contains several clauses without clear control, and “this may results” uses the wrong verb form. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas with subordinate clauses and check each subject–verb pairing.
